iTunes just released movie sales and rentals in the New Zealand Store. Purchasing starts at NZ$9.99 Rentals Start at NZ$5.99
It’s a good idea but I don’t think I would pay full price for a download movie over a DVD because: a) a DVD Is cheaper at the Warehouse than a download on iTunes b) a DVD is higher quality c) You don’t need to tally in the price for broadband usage. (My plan at the moment would be a $2 surcharge)
Okay, in the past i have had a bit of beef with Telecom. But i must say. this ad is pretty cool. Not better than vodafone’s “mayfly” ad but I have always had a place in my heart for those “OK Go! on treadmills” kind of videos
‘Macguide’ has been delivered to Kiwi mac users Doorsteps for what seems like a life time. As a avid reader I was very disappointed to hear about the recent demise of a great magazine.
Due to limited advertising opportunities, Parkside Media found no other option than to discontinue macguide.
34 Issues and thousands of subscribers later the team at Parkside Media have developed a much loved and respected product that will be greatly missed.
Although in true apple fashion there is still a ‘one more thing…’ piece of news.
The Macguide team will continue its work online at
www.macguide.co.nz
So you can still keep up with all your favorite Mac news from writers such as editor of New Zealand Macguide, Mark Webster.
Issue 34 is the final edition of Macguide. Grab it at your local magazine outlet while you still can. If you have never read macguide before. You won’t be dissapointed
A2N would like to wish all the best to the Team at Macguide and good luck with all your future projects.
“It’s not a blog as such, although it’s in a blog format. It’s Mac and Apple news and links of interest to New Zealanders, as well as tips, reviews etc.”
In the Pages of the Wierd and wacky on the web Google has created a tribute to the great comic genius Elmer Fudd by popping in a Elmer Fudd Language option in the language Preferences of google.com (or should i say pweferwences)
