Know thats a phone I have been looking at for a while.
As some of u U-S of A Bloggers can imagine, New Zealand can not even begin to compare to the models of mobiles that you have.
No iPhone, Outdated Blackberrys and Palms… and everything else would have been on your shelves three years prior… Oh and Sanyo… need I say more?
Currently on a Treo 700wx and want to change to a more ‘Happy Family‘ Provider after repeatedly being kicked in the ass by my present one… Sigh
Telecom NZ Charged me and extra $300nzd on my phone bill for not doing anything wrong and they are expecting me to pay it. WTF?! I miss you Vodafone, I wanna come home.
But this mobile really does shed some light on the amazing technology that you behold. and not make me wanna give up completely

So Tonight I leave on an adventure with mum to Christchurch. We are going to discuss living arrangements and course outlines with the team at CPIT. now that I am having some woes with Telecom I have been advised to keep my internet off. And since I have no laptop anymore my ‘blogging buddies’ around the world are going to have some trouble keeping up with me. I will try to check my emails at a internet café in town and also I will try to Blog.
But if your just in need of a technology dose…Heres 4 Blogs I recommend to you.
Cool Smartphone
Nick Starr
The Boy Genius Report
The Joy of Tech
In my mind these are the creme de la creme of tech blogs. If they were to combined to be a single newspaper…
Nick Starr would be the opinions section. He is a great guy who always has something to say about tech.
Cool Smartphone and Boy Genius would be the news headlines and all in between. quite simply, they are just everything you could want from tech news.
and the Joy of Tech is the funnies section that always gets a laugh.
in the words of Cali Lewis Over at GBTV
‘Enjoy Your Technology’ and ill catch you all on Wednesday.

Apple released a new update for iTunes (7.3) Last week to coincide with the release of the much anticipated ‘god’ of all technology… iPhone.
After installation i went back to work. Uploading some new CDs from my trip. buying music videos and downloading the hundred odd podcasts i have missed out on during my adventure.
Until I get a pop up with error -50 (whatever that means.)
Apparently iTunes couldn’t save my library. Of course I don’t know what that means. So I go back to work and few hours later, head to bed. Next morning I boot my iTunes and (surprise surprise) nothing saved into my library!
The fix is to export your library (doing this from the file menu) and then delete the original library files (NOT THE MUSIC LIBRARY) Then you have to sit around while it pieces your music back together again. This took FOREVER! Not a great way to spend my morning.
Now all of my Music Videos and TV Shows (excluding purchases from iTunes Store) are marked as movies!
My question to you is
“Is there a way to mark bulk iTunes items as a ‘Music Video’ or ‘TV Show’

‘Macguide’ has been delivered to Kiwi mac users Doorsteps for what seems like a life time. As a avid reader I was very disappointed to hear about the recent demise of a great magazine.
Due to limited advertising opportunities, Parkside Media found no other option than to discontinue macguide.
34 Issues and thousands of subscribers later the team at Parkside Media have developed a much loved and respected product that will be greatly missed.
Although in true apple fashion there is still a ‘one more thing…’ piece of news.
The Macguide team will continue its work online at
www.macguide.co.nz
So you can still keep up with all your favorite Mac news from writers such as editor of New Zealand Macguide, Mark Webster.
Issue 34 is the final edition of Macguide. Grab it at your local magazine outlet while you still can. If you have never read macguide before. You won’t be dissapointed
A2N would like to wish all the best to the Team at Macguide and good luck with all your future projects.
For more information about New Zealand Macguide and New Zealand Mac users visit.

Update: Mark has informed me that he will be leaving Macguide and Parkside Media in August to work on his own projects.
One of which being
“It’s not a blog as such, although it’s in a blog format. It’s Mac and Apple news and links of interest to New Zealanders, as well as tips, reviews etc.”
This website will be one to look out for Guys ![]()
