Okay, so since I began my… “lifestyle change” I have proudly lost 3 kilos. Although it’s only a small fraction of what I am wanting to I am still very pleased with myself. But I do have to say it isn’t easy. There are certian times when I fall off the rails and certian times my inner lazy bones wants to show himself so I thought I would present you with what I am doing that isn’t helping my case. Also what I am doing that is helping with some quick results.

When you create such a big change in your life as a diet you can’t expect to give up on everything that you hold dear. It may be easy to say all you are going to eat is rabbit food but when put into practice it is a lot more difficult.

Firstly the good. I have cut out all my usual habits such as every few days going to mcdonalds and bk for a burger to getting a small wrap from subway or some sushi. My personal favourites are subway club or chicken fillet wraps, or chicken teriaki sushi. Yummers. The good news about this is that now my subway reward dollars go up so often I get freebies occasionally.

I have got rid of powder sugar drinks like raro and replaced them with the obvious choice, water or charlies grapefruit juice if I want a treat.

I am making sure at least half my meals are fruit and/or vegetable and I’m only eating 3 times a day, mabey one snack at night before bed.

But even though that sounds good I don’t always follow the rules. For example I can’t and refuse to live without the following.
Ceaser dressing
White bread
Chicken luncheon
And Canned peaches
I know they are not helping but they are foods I love and they are not going anywhere.

I am trying really hard not to eat candy, fizzys or energy drinks but I do find at least once a week I do slip. Perfect example being the Olympic openings where I ate a packet of mnm’s, packet of starburst squirts and a milo bar. This made me feel really quite sick and also very guilty.

On the exercise front. I am doing at least 1-2 hours a day of turbo jam cardio a well as alternating each day between sculpting and ab workouts. So far I am noticing my posture is improving and I am able to hold my belly in a lot easier. Also my belly is shrinking and becoming more defined

So there’s a update on my progress. Although I feel I am working hard I always have to think I am not perfect and I am allowed to have a slip once and a while. As long as I don’t make a habbit out of it. :)
