Not what I usually blog about but this was just interesting. \n\nAs I was driving my parents to a BBQ I noticed this odd car in the disance. Then some lights. Then some more lights. Then I realize this is not just a casual drive with some police men. \n\nIts a car that has been made to look like spider-mans vehicle of choice and it was one hell of a race with two cop cars. \n\nLater after tweeting this event. I drive home and find one police car and old spidey in a head on colision. \n\nFrom what I know. The girls were about 14, driving a toyota starlet. I saw the girls being taken away from the police. I was told one of their names but have now forgotten. But one had brown hair. One had orange and one of the two was hit by a bus back in 2005. Random piece of info I know but I\’m sure after saying that someone from balclutha will be able to comment a name. \n\nI tried to take a pic but I was too far away\n\n\nAnyone have any info? let me know and I will update this post\n

One night I was looking on my laptop through thousands of old photos and I found all of these videos of me and some old friends and I had to make a video out of them.

Heres the description from YouTube:

…So it’s a tribute to some Awesome People
Filip, Sophie, Emily, Sarah, Calvin and Mehdi
Even when I am nowhere near you guys you still give me inspiration

So Never forget.

WiiPig

Alright, let’s get down to business.

I was never a big gamer. After a half hour or so I would get frustrated, throw something and go on Facebook.

But now I am loving this whole social gaming experience that Nintendo has gotten down with the Wii. So far its looking like I am clocking in over 8 hours a day in this little time waster. What a great gift to myself for Christmas.

I have only had it two weeks, Since then I have tried… Wii Sports (Included), Mario Karts (Purchased), Wii Music, Wii Fit, Mario and Sonic at the Olympics and Super Paper Mario (All Rented).

I loved all of them except Paper Mario. It just didn’t pull me in like the rest.

A couple things I think Nintendo could Improve in:

-Include HD… even 720p, RIght now I am using the standard cables included on my 32″ LCD and it just does not do it justice.

-Make the Wii Store more like Apple’s App Store. No one should have to pay as much as you are charging for software… Include some free games and don’t charge for a Internet Browser.

-Change the way you Add Friends. Every Mii should have a username and you should be notified when a Mii adds you as a friend. We’re not in the 19th century Nintendo, nobody wants another phone number.

(Post your Wii number below and add me 6708 6146 4435 8988)

Apart from that I am loving the experience and am looking forward to making my next investment Wii Fit.

Dec 09

Well, a month has been and gone since my last confession.

Let me catch you up with a few posts.

I finished my Final Project which was a tribute to Emma Agnew, an amazing deaf woman who was murdered in christchurch towards the end of last year. It was a tribute that starred her friends and family performing “Faithful” by Brooke Fraser on Sumner Beach in Christchurch with Sign Language.

It got airtime on One News which instantly got it 5,000 hits on YouTube and that made me smile.

Thanks go Out to Liz Walbran who did next to all the Pre-Production and also the team at Tandem Voice Booth

Final Step is the Screening at Reading Cinemas tomorrow night. Sorry but it’s invite only.

Make sure you Subscribe to my Twitter to see how it goes ;)
